On this episode of The Revelator Show I’m welcome music guest Josh Charles from the band ASHRR to talk about the bands new single and debut album Oscillator
The Los Angeles based synth-rock/post-punk trio ASHRR will be releasing their anticipated debut full-length record Friday, May 10th. ASHRR has a phenomenal sound, that is reminiscent of new wave and post-punk and draws influence from acts like David Bowie, Peter Murphy, Echo And The Bunnymen, and the Talking Heads.
Formed in 2018, ASHRR is a synth-rock musical collective made up of singer-songwriter Steven Davis and artists / producers Ethan Allen and Josh Charles. Josh Charles from the band who joins me on this episode of the TRS podcast.
Josh Charles is a critically acclaimed piano prodigy, guitarist, singer, producer and songwriter mentored by Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Dr. John. Josh talks about his first meetings with Dr. John and some of his first conversations he had with him. Josh, mentioned his impact Dr. John on the business side of things in the music industry.
Josh and I talk about the bands latest single & video “Don’t Wait Too Long”. We first discuss the real impact this video is having visually and the impact of social media plays in todays society.
