Disturbed would take the stage and literally light it on fire! Burst of flames would scorch from the bands stage. The heat could be felt from the back of the outer rim of the outdoor amphitheater. Disturbed is the welcome back to the music industry tour you do not want to miss this summer.
Disturbed played everything you’d want to hear including a bunch of songs from their first two albums. The band also dug out a few covers including Nine Inch Nails “Closer” Lead vocalist David Draiman said “Ok this one’s for the ladies”. Disturbed also rock our Rage Against The Machines “Killing In The Name Of”.
To top off this run of covers Disturbed brought out Lzzy Hale from Halestorm to sing the U2 song “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For”
I ran into Lzzy Hale a few nights later and had a chance to speak with her about it her performance. She stated that she spoke with David Draiman about coming to the show and he said you can have a ticket but I’m going to make you earn it. You know U2? Well, this is what we're singing and you can come join me on stage for a verse and chorus. So there you have it, straight from Lzzy herself on how she ended up performing with Disturbed in Nashville.
Disturbed put on an amazing display to a sold out crowd. A true masterful display of power, presence and musical precision. Get down with Disturbed, get down with the sickness. The band is back like they never missed a day. Throw up your horns and go see them live! You'll be glad you did!
