The Melvins Sold Out Show At 3rd & Lindsley
These photos were taken on Sept. 22nd.
The Melvins played 3rd & Lindsley to a sold out show. They are legends and if you ask me one of the founders of the Seattle west coast punk/ Grunge moment in the 90's. The Melvins may never get the credit or commercial success that many of the bands who followed after them. However nearly everyone knows who they are. The live crowds span decades and generations. The Melvins are still playing too sold out show, after sold out show. They’re a great band, a great and loyal service known as the Melvins. The bulls and the bees of the music industry. The Melvins are a real piece of American modern music history. Hold it in for the bride screamed murder.
As for the live show they crushed it, killed, chopped it up, put in a hot skillet and served up stag, a stoner witches delight. Enough heavy music for everyone even Houdini was full. Nude with boot it does not matter. All who had a ticket could come inside. They say never breathe what you can't see. The Melvins sound was a hostile ambient takeover, enormous, a true walk with love and death.
