Revelator Show 250: Welles, Memories and Rock 'N' Roll
On this episode of Revelator I’m welcome music guests Welles. This week in TRS History features music from The Dead Deads, Howling Tongues, and The Mendenhall Experiment. I’ll also cover recent concerts, the top movies at the box office, headlines, the death of Vinnie Paul and much more.
This week in Revelator History:
This week I’ll look back at a few Revelator shows starting with Revelator #118 featuring the first ever appearance of The Dead Deads. This show also marks one of the only interviews that include all 5 original members of the band as well while they were recording their video for the bands break out single “Lemonade”.
Since then The Dead Deads have been on big national tours with Bush, Chevelle, and most recently Seether. With a few member changes, the band is currently working on new material. I’ll be playing the bands single from last summer titled “Nothing Will Be Fine”
This week in TRS history features a band I’m a big fan of from the Atlanta, Ga. Rock scene that first appear on Revelator show #170.
The Howling Tongues have had some commercial success having their songs featured in wrangler jean ad and one of my favorite single form their debut album “Power In A Red Dress”
The last show we’ll be taking a look at this week is from Revelator #215 featuring one of the best stories in the rock & metal world. The Mendenhall Experiment is a story about overcoming challenges and raising awareness on cerebral palsy.
I’ll rock the bands first ever single “Seize The Day”
