Revelator Show 124: The Torche F11

On this episode of Revelator I welcome special music guest Torch and Finger Eleven with special guest interviewer, this week in Revelator History artist Gemini Syndrome & Message To Venus. I’ll cover the top movies and I have an announcement regarding a new album review section.

I’d like to start this week’s show by thanking everyone for their support, sharing the show links, following me on twitter and listening and or reading content on Revelatorshow.com. As I continue to grow RevelatorShow.com I’ll be adding a new album review section.

Now you may be thinking great another guy reviewing more albums on a blog via the internet. Well, like many things on RevelatorShow.com I tend to find different ways to bring you content. This album review section will be very different than some guy telling you what albums he likes or dislikes. This album review section will feature musicians reviewing albums of their peers. I thought what better way to have album reviews done than by musicians in the industry.

The first installment of the album review section will feature former guest CJ Pierce from Drowning Pool reviewing the new Saint Asonia album who were on the Revelator #122

The official launch of this new section of Revelator will begin August 7th. You can look for upcoming album reviews of the new Lamb Of God from Brian Fair of Shadows Fall and the new Failure album reviewed by lead vocalist Meta Dead from The Dead Deads.

I hope to have more artists reviewing more albums as time goes on. I’m very excited to see where this can go.

You can hear Drowning Pool interview here

With the growth of Revelatorshow.com the time has come to inquire about advertisement opportunities. If you have a company, program, product you’d like to have featured on the blog, podcast or need photos taken of please contact me here.

I’ve also added a donation section to Revelator that offers some great gifts and prizes. Feel free to check it out and become a part of Revelator and its continued growth.

If you have recommendations on how I can improve Revelator please comment below.

I’ll be wrapping up my coverage of this year’s Nashville warped tour. Check out the newest section here of RevelatorShow.com Warped Tour Coverage. You’ll see photos, reviews, and hear interviews from some great up and coming bands in the music industry.

After a 2 week hiatus from the weekly blog feature the Photo section has returned and this week features this week’s Guest Finger Eleven and Three Days Grace. Some changes have been made and look for some more changes to the photo section of RevelatorShow.com coming very soon.

The photo section will not include the ability to purchase large quality photo prints abut also a cheaper option of a digital copy of the photos without water mark sent your E-Mail.

(Sizes Available 8X10, 11X14, & 16X20)

Look for future photos from Devour The Day, Hip Hop artist Murs, and Le Butcherettes, Torche and Failure.

Finger Eleven:

What more can I say about the ladies from The Dead Deads? Between becoming close friends with them over the past 6 months,  having them as guest on Revelator, having them do guest spot interviews at warped tour with me and now Hella Dead guest interviewing on this episode of Revelator.

This week’s guest is Finger Eleven and Hella Dead sat down with Rick Jackett before the bands show here in Nashville several weeks ago to discuss a wide range of topics starting with the band’s new album “Five Cooked Lines” that was released on July 31st. F11 returns to the music scene after a 5 year break with the release of their 6th studio album. On this episode you’ll hear the new single “Wolves and Doors

Hella and Rick talk about getting back on the road touring again, playing video games, game of thrones, and his one eyed dogs. Rick also speaks about charities he and the band are involved with.

Rick Jackett and the whole crew for F11 were great and I’d like to give a special thanks to their tour manager Bruce.

Torche:

I made my way to the Exit In located in Nashville, Tn. To meet up with Andrew and John from Torche to discuss the bands current tour and latest album release “Restarter” the bands 4th full length album.

The band’s latest single & video for the song “Annihilation Affair” can be heard on this episode along with some great info about who created the video.

We were able to have some fun discussions involving preshow rituals, video games and their Torche vs. Robots game. If you’re an old school gamer you have to check it out http://www.torchemusic.com/

I regret to say we did not get a chance to play Torche, Blow or Kill with Andrew and John but that will be something we will have to do next time they are on show.

Torche or Aerosmith 2 is one hell of a band live. Torche will drag you out in deep water late at night and let the waves of heavy music crush you without remorse. Bring your floatation device because Torche will burn your boat at a nautical depth of aquatic.
