Like A Storm @ The Warehouse – Clarksville, TN.
Let me paint a mental picture for those of you that weren't there. Walking through the gravel parking lot at The Warehouse Concert and Event center, all my camera gear strapped to me I didn't know what to expect out of the evening. I get inside the smoke filled venue and make my way to the stage. Thinking that tonight will be just like any other night at “the office,” after the opening bands played I knew I was definitely mistaken. Watching the stage crew setup Like A Storm's gear and stage “decor” of stacked up skulls and fog machines I knew I was about to have my face rocked off. I also noticed on a background banner the word “Didgeridoo” on it. I had no idea what the hell Didgeridoo was and then I heard an odd droning sound as the lights dimmed down and I figured it out. To say Like A Storm's performance was explosive would be a rather big understatement. I've seen and shot a lot of concerts and shows this year. The Brooks brothers of Like A Storm certainly know how to put on one hell of a show. They mesh so well on stage. As expressive and all over the stage as Chris Brooks, the lead singer, was I certainly had no issues getting some outstanding pictures of him or any of the others. If you have yet to attend a Like A Storm performance then you really need to get up off the couch and go see these boys from New Zealand give your ear drums an earth rumbling run for your money.
